Within the registration process there is a line in which you may make special requests. Request to play up one year/one age group!!!!

Age is determined by what age the player turns after August 1, 2010. She would have been 5 turning 6 after the given date. This places her in the U6 age group. When you register the software will automatically place your doughter in the appropriate age group.

My daughter is 6 and turns 7 on September 15, 2011. Should I register her for U6 or U8?

Yes, age groups are by birthdate with the cut off being August 1 of any year. For example, if a player turns age 6 after August 1, 2010, they would be considered U6 during the season which runs from August 1, 2010 to July 31, 2011.

If you are wondering what is the youngest age players would be accepted, generally it would be age 4, this means that they would be turning 5 during the season or considered U5. We have had players that are age 3 turning 4 in the program. Most often these players have older siblings playing and they want to play also. If you feel the player is ready, that's a good starting point. If they are shy or easily intimidated it might not be a good choice, but there can be exceptions.

Registration will not close for the U5 & U6 until the start of the season, April 26.

I had been waiting to register my son and have been to the website on a few occasions to check when late fees would start. I read on page 2 of registration form on the bottom of the page that late fees start on *Feb 1st, 2011 (in bold black letters, and receieved an email from KASA that late fees would start on Feb1st. To my suprise and disappointment when I registered my son this morning(Jan 31st) I did not get the discount, even though it says Feb 1st late fees start and stated that as well … Read More

To All that experienced this programming mistake. Your interpretaion was correct. The change date was set in error and has since been correncted. For re-imbursement of the over charge please click on "registrar" link on the KASA home page and report the over charge. This will be forwarded to our Treasurer for re-imbursement. Sorry for the inconvenience.

My daughter was born March 12,2004 which puts her on the U-7 team but there is no U-7 team, would she be on the U-8 team then?

Yes, she will be placed on a U8 team.

Hi Tom,
Just go to the KASA web site and click on registration (the image with a soccer ball on top of a notepad). Click on "All Program Registrations", login and follow the instructions.
You will need your email address and password. If you forgot your password you can request a new one to be sent to your email address.

I think there is a conflict on the web site regarding birthdates/age eligability and I'm looking for clarification.
First: My daughter was born 6/18/05 - I think she'll play on the U6 team correct?
Second: My son was born 5/17/07. The "Player Eligability" chart states: Under 5 - Born on or after August 01, 2005 - Born on or before July 31, 2006. He does not fit into the age range. But when I was registering my daughter the top of the page said that eligable players n…

Hi Rhiannon - you are correct, your daughter will play U6 and your son will be in the group with the U5. Basically, KASA offers a recreational and very instructive program for this age group, between 4 and 6 years of age. How do we register a child that wants/needs to play up one age bracket?
