Recreational Teams are formed from players age 7 through age 19. It is a developmental program that provides healthy activities emphasizing enjoyment and development over competition. “Rec” soccer allows children to have fun, make mistakes and learn. It’s for players who’s primary interest is fun, fitness, and friendships. Coaches are encouraged and should strive to give every player substantial playing time. The game is the best teacher.

For those teams wanting a little extra excitement there are recreational tournaments offered throughout the summer.

• Late June/Early July - Registration opens for following spring
• August 1 - Start of Soccer year
• February 15 - Registration late fees apply
• April 1 - Teams formed, volunteer coaches selected
• Late April - Practices start
• Early May - Season begins
• Mid to end of July - End of spring/summer season
