Competitive Tryout Information

Competitive tryouts are held in June of each year for the following league year (August 1st - July 31st).

Players are placed on teams by birth year. All players are expected to attend the tryout for their birth year unless they have made prior arrangements with our DOC or their current coach.
Our goal each year is to form multiple teams per age level and place players on teams that provide competition based on their skill level while still providing an enjoyable experience.
Players are HIGHLY encouraged to try out with the appropriate age group. If for some reason a player is unable to attend the tryout for their age group they should plan to attend the make-up date or contact us at tryout@kasasoccer.org to make alternate tryout plans

Check-In

Players should report to tryout registration 15-20 minutes before their scheduled tryout time. Players will be checked in and given a numbered tryout pinnie to be worn during the tryout process.
Player should arrive ready to play - shin guards, cleats, water bottle, properly inflated soccer ball, etc
Players new to competitive soccer or new to KASA should be accompanied by a parent to assist with check-in
Parents are encouraged to go shopping or run errands during tryouts - often a parent's presence increases stress levels for the child, inhibiting their performance.
