It is a developmental program
that provides healthy activities emphasizing enjoyment and development
over competition. “Rec” soccer allows children to have fun, make
mistakes and learn. It’s for players who’s primary interest is fun,
fitness, and friendships. Coaches are encouraged and should strive to
give every player substantial playing time. The game is the best
teacher.
For those teams wanting a little extra excitement there are recreational
tournaments offered throughout the summer.
